We invite you to attend Reality Check: Misinformation, Manipulation, and the Canadian Public, a virtual and physical panel discussion that brings together perspectives from activism, law, and digital literacy research to explore these issues and more.
Drawing on the perspectives and expertise of the panelists, the conversation considers the roles that individuals, educators, lawmakers, and institutions can play in helping people navigate the information they encounter. Explore with us how information moves across social media and search platforms, why some false claims travel faster than facts, and what it means for communities when data collection and algorithmic filtering shape what becomes part of the public conversation.
